    Idea of progress/oral
    Message de jadee55 posté le 22-01-2017 à 17:50:45 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour
    pourriez-vous m'aider à corriger cette notion s'il vous plait?
Je vous remercie beaucoup d'avance pour votre aide.

But even though progress is an incredible experience, many people are not persuaded. More precisely, progress and new technologies could be a problem. Indeed, actually, we have just to turn one’s hand to see extend of internet: people are spending their lives to watch their screen’s phone. At this pace, we risk bypassing the basics. The experience achieved by an English teacher at Portland’s Lincoln High School is incredible. This young teacher challenged student to live without any technology for a week and asked them to unplug all technological devices including cell phones, computers, the Internet and Music playling devices. Some student, was a nervous wrek and gave up very quicky. It was unbearable and it’s was like a rehab for a druger. When they think about what it might have been like before the technology, it is akin to a person being bor n after the widespread use of cars being asked to think about how life might have been experienced in the age of horse and buggy. But, some student succeeded and testified: In fact, Thanks to this experience, they saw the power of real life; they discovered their friends and they learned to settle for simple pleasure like the reading. But some people chose to live on the margins of technologies and society. Into the wild is an adaptation based on the true story of ChristopherMcCandless, a young American wanderer who hiked off into the Alaskan wilderness. Christopher have struggled to find its place, in the society and decided to live on the margins of society. He founded his happiness with just the travel, the nature and meeting with people. This type of experience clearly illustrates the fact that technology takes over our life completely and some people don’t take the time to admire Nature or go for a walk. But Technological can also pollute. In Fact, a study showed that internet, applications and webshop like twitter, Instagram or Amazon are major polluters. Actually, 3 millions of people are connecting in the world. This impressive number of connection could generate an increase of 60 porcent of energy consumption. Problem is that internet and this website utilize source of electrical energy like charcoal and nuclear. This kind of energy has impact on the environment and on the ozone layer. It is dramatic because of it is contribute to the Global warming and nature is in danger. Finally, when all is said and done, even if progress is essential thanks to his improvement in our life, it is still too often, incompatible with nature and traditional valor.
    Are there solutions?

In the question of environment, some website, like facebook, have decided to go green. Consequently, they use the renewables energies and like the wind energy. This kind of website is a real example for others. Furthermore there are site which are developing new application to do sport. They propose to their user, sport activities outdoors with a virtual coach. Other application permits to meet people which have the same passion. Finally, internet do not only take away their user, but it also permit to discover new people and sport propice to the quality of life
