Merci d'avance

The notion I'm going to deal with is spaces and exchanges. The different places of world are nowadays more and more connected to each other. I feel this notion is best illustrated by trying to see « what influence does the web have on today's society ? Firstly, I'll present web as a new way to communicated and to be informed. Secondly, I'll show that there are also many negative aspects of the Internet.
First of all, one of the major developments in the most recent years is the Internet and the different social networks : like as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. So they allow us to communicate with the whole world. Indeed, the document entitled « think different » dealth with the fifth power by showing evolution of computer thanks to Steve Jobs, creator of apple. He saw the power of tecnology to change the way we live. This revolutionize of computer world allows to everyone to access to social networks and search engine.
Moreover, the website provide us rapidly and everywhere news about the world. Today, it's easier for anyone to find the right information on the Internet thanks to Google. Thus, the culture key about Google shows that it's a search engine capable of providing most information available worldwide to anyone with internet access. There is also Google street view, an application allow us to see towns, regions, countries on the net.
Similarly, the web is a place where there are a lot of exchanges. In fact the social networks have a role important to empower citizens. The text entitled « flash mobs » focused on how citizens can get organized rapidly. A flash-mob is a group of people mobilized by social media to meet in a public place for the purpose of doing an unusual or entertaining activity of short duration. Today's social networks give people too much power.

Unfortunately, at the same time social network can have negative effects on our life. For example with Facebook, we have an another life. We can play with our identity and create it. One becomes the person one would like to be.
On top of this, some websites like Wikileaks can be dangerous. The WikiLeaks is an international online not-for-profit media organization founded by Australian activist Julian Assange that has published and made available to the public a huge number of classified, uncensored and highly sensitive documents from various anonymous news sources.
A good exeample is in the Cartoon “From paper to screen” which show that Newspapers are losing their relevance in the lives of people particularly younger readers because of online news.

To conclude, we can say that the new technologies have an impact on the increasing of citizens in today's society. For my part, the Internet have a good influence if we don't get out of our limite because it makes our life easier and better.
