These are rather scientific terms searchers are used to employ in their work. Talking about the difference between them is not very pertinent as each one has its own independent meaning. Well let’s underline their respective significations.
Approach is a way of working or of thinking. First, we make sure of this way by taking things step by step. Thus, if it seems fulfilled useful, it will be used later again and again to reach goal.
Theory is a supposed idea. It may be either right or wrong. To bring its veracity in light needs logic reasoning then experimental verification.
Model is a simulation of phenomenon. Instead of directly dealing with huge scientific system, searchers would rather represent it by mean of smaller faithful representation having the same characteristics but at reduced scale so that it will be easily studied in laboratory.
