    Correction/mythes et héros
    Message de lise134 posté le 01-05-2019 à 11:21:19 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour
voici ma fiche notion de myths and heroes; pourriez-vous m'aider à corriger cette fiche s'il vous plait ?
    Merci pour vos réponses.

I am going to talk about the notion of Myths and Heroes. First of all I would like to give a definition of this notion : A myth can be defined as a story about gods or heroes, it can be a popular belief or a tradition or a false notion. A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon.
why myths and heroes are so important in the society?
first of all I would like talk about heroes in society and then thre fact that science fiction heroes can become myths.
    I) heroes in society

Since the the dawn of time, some people or groups of people have distinguished themselves by their different actions for the others, their words or their qualities and are considered heroes in society and in people's minds. In English class we heard a report on malala it called malala day . We learned that Malala was a young girl who was born and lived in Pakistan. She wanted to be a doctor but his country thinks that girls' place is at home. During her life she fought so that all children could go to school
At 11, she criticizes them in a documentary on TV. Four years later, the Taliban attack her: she is seriously injured. Malala is transported to the UK to be cured and protected. She returns to school and continues her fight, telling her story around the world. She is fighting for all children to go to school. So that girls also have the right to learn: "Let's take our notebooks and our pencils! These are our most powerful weapons. " In 2014, Malala Yousafzai receives the Nobel Peace Prize. She is 17 years old. It is a worldwide recognition of his peaceful struggle for education.
she is considered as an hero in her country for the population. That's why July 12 is a day dedicated to malala.
People fighting for justice, a fairer world with civil rights are considered heroes but peoples who are engineers, inventors are hero too they create useful things that can make men's everyday life easier. For exemple Elon Musk who created the hyperloop.
In english class we studied the revolution of transport and the hyperloop is a big innovation because in few years this train could evolve at a subsonic speed of around 1,200 km / h (almost the speed of sound) by carrying passengers and freight. A Paris-Marseille connection would then take only forty minutes.
We will gain considerable time moreover, it is in transport that we waste the most time daily.

II Then science fiction heroes can become myths for the population
we analyzed the character of Pinocch in the movie white man.
Worker at a factory in Los Angeles, Louis Pinnock one day agrees to work overtime to wear a fold to his boss, Thaddeus Thomas, who lives in a sumptuous villa on the heights of the city. But while he goes around the villa in search of a living soul, he surprises in spite of himself the wife of his boss undressing near a window on the first floor. Thomas, witnessing the incident, immediately fired him. Now unable to pay their rent, Louis and his wife, Marsha, are soon expelled from the modest pavilion where they lived sparingly with their son, Donnie.
Desperate, he kidnaps the rich black businessman responsible for his dismissal and demands a ransom.
Pinoch can be considered as an hero because at the end the businessman
at the end the businessman had a heart attack and Pinoch saved his life while he could have run away with his friends. he also made noise to attract the police and stayed with him until he could be rescued.

we studied India which symbolizes the kingdom of dream with his bollywood movies .
We saw a video India is the country of cinema thousand bollywood movies are produced every year in this country where lot of kinds wanted to be actor and dancers in Bollywood movie because they make them dream , the reality in India is unfair the majority of population is poor there is a huge difference between poor and rich peoples.
the films are very long, the actors wear very colorful outfits The plot is made out for star crossed love or angry parents. It is the current theme of love triumphing of impossible situations We are to be reminded here of the strictness of the caste systeme hierarchy whch often makes arranged marriages prevail which is not the true love
this myth can be connected to the american dream which symbolize

We can link the kingdom of dream with the american dream because it represents The idea of social success in the United States..

    Finally
Heroes represents role models for men, They want to look like them because they are good values they are strong and want a fairer world .
moreover heros can become myths by their action, personnality
Heroes can be peoples in real life for exemple by their fights for human rights or heroes in science fiction Thanks to their superpower
