    Correction/analyse cartoon
    Message de hommelama posté le 30-09-2012 à 16:41:12 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour,

j'ai écrit ce devoir qui porte sur l'analyse d'un cartoon.
Et j'aimerais savoir ce que vous en pensez et si vous avez relevé quelques fautes.
    Merci d'avance !

This cartoon made by dave Granlund show a overweight version of Uncle Sam, who carries an disproportionate tray full of junk food. With a smile from ear to ear the caracter seem to be enchant by the processed food. I think the scen take place in a fast food and the caracter is walking with difficulty to his table. This cartoon is a satire of the national over wheight issue in USA. Traditionally uncle Sam is the personification of the United States, whit this fat caracter the author aims at showing the extent of the phenomenon : because most part of american are fat, uncle sam is obese too. The tray full of supersize processed food like french fries, burgers popcron donuts, mufins and sodas is goal to denonce the issue of disproportion in the portions in americain fast food. In fact, in 50's An average hamburger served in fast food weighed 110 grams, today, it weighs 340 grams. He also whant to raise people's aware about the difference between the abundance of food in USA and the famine in third world countres. The autor resorts of an broad grin in the face of uncle sam to criticize the blind Sticking of americain Face has this issiue, and the the hypnotized glance is goal to denonce the fact of big americain company urge people to consume more and more at the cost of the health and planet.
I think this cartoon is very efficient to bring into focus population to the notional obesity issue. Lot of fat people need to exercise and practicise outodrs activites but they don't because be fat is now quite common and nobody tell us about health disorders caused by junk food, cimical additives and préservatives. The importance to lead a healty life and a balanced diet need to be teach to childrends in developped contries.
The title for this cartoon could be : "USA is bury in his own processed food"
To conclude, The malnutrition in usa is a very big issue and the fact that the big americain groups like fast food Increase always the portion in restaurant and the standardization of obesity don't help to fix it !
