    Spaces and exchanges/Oral
    Message de kodax posté le 02-04-2014 à 14:59:55 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour,
Mon bac approche et je me prépare comme je peux. Voici une des notions. Pouvez-vous m'aider à corriger ?
    Merci pour votre aide.

I’m going to talk about places and forms of power. First of all, I’d like to give a definition of this notion. The different spaces of the world are nowadays more and more connected to each other. An exchange is when we give in return for something received – this can be anything from money, ideas, gifts or financial aid. Interactions and exchanges across the borders have become easier and faster.I would like to illustrate this notion through the theme of cultural interactions. What are the advantages and disadvantages of Gap year ?

Firstly, more and more students who can afford take the time off opting for gap year. A gap year it’s a year after high school and before entering university, that some young people use as an opportunity to get experience. They can find options that are aviaible to do services in other countries to experience the world before go back to school. They can involved in enveronnemental programs or on humanitarian projects . The gap year makes students more mature and responsible. You discover and learn new customs, meet new people and participate to new activities. Students can also discover himself. For example with the article « Postcard from the edge » and Jennifer Dawis who spent time in a Inuit's village like teaching assistant. She learns their customs and they have changed their mynd. Finally, she wants to become Doctor and come back there.
    It's a human experience.

But on the other hand, there are several drawbacks in gap year. Some gap year may be a rip-off.
First, some gap year are expensive and the website «  This is money » show it. With Internet, a lot of people took the term of "gap year" and takes advantage of it. Some gap years which suggest a travel to people have to pay far too much. Then the schemes are spurious and badly organized. So an arrival, students are disapointed and ignored.
And some students think that gap year is holidays and spend time on beaches. They forget that they are voluntary and that they are here to help people in dificulty like africans or Inuits.

Firstly, more and more students who can afford it take the time off opting for a gap year. A gap year it(en trop)’s a year after high school and before entering university, that some young people use as an opportunity to get experience. They can find options that are aviaible to do services in other countries to experience the world before go(ing!) back to school. They can (manque base verbale verbe être)involved in enveronnemental programs or on humanitarian projects . The gap year makes students more mature and responsible. You discover and learn new customs, meet new people and participate to new activities. Students can also discover himself(pluriel). For example with the article « Postcard from the edge » and Jennifer Dawis who spent time in an Inuit's village like(mauvais choix, pas comme en comparaison , comme signifie ici en tant que) a teaching assistant (toujours "a" devant un métier). She learns their customs and they have changed their (à qui, à eux ou à elle?)mynd. Finally, she wants to become a Doctor and come (plutôt go) back there.
    It's a human experience.

But on the other hand, there are several drawbacks in a gap year. Some gap years may be a rip-off.
First, some gap years are expensive and the website « This is money » show(3ème personne présent, donc....) it. With Internet, a lot of people took (used, pour éviter la répétition) the term of "gap year" and takes (prétérit)advantage of it. Some gap years which suggest a travel to people have to pay far too much.(construction de la phrase à revoir) Then the schemes are spurious and badly organized. So an arrival, students are disappointed and ignored.
And some students think that gap year is a holiday and spend their time on beaches. They forget that they are voluntary workers and that they are here to help people in difficulty like Africans or Inuits.
