Bonjour à tous,
J'aimerais avoir vos avis et éventuellement quelques corrections concernant une notion que j'ai préparée pour le bac et que voici:
"I will talk about the notion idea of progress. Today technology has an important place in our lives, we use it every time. We take it for granted but if the world changes and if technology doesn't work anymore, how could we live without technology ?
Firstly today people use technology for everything and everyday: to talk, to move, to play, to have fun, we need technology because we only know that and we don't need everything else to do what we want excepted her. But if technology doesn't work anymore there will be a lack of food, a necessity to protect us and we will need the help of others peoples, like during a blackout people are private of her, they are lost and they don't know what to do, that's what happen during the NY blackout in 2003 when people go on the street to help each other because they haven't any information.
But sometimes we have to live whithout technology and we have to find a way to do everything without technology. For example in a school a teacher ask for this sudiants to try to live one week without technology and so they read, they gone outside because they had to find another way to have fun, for a lot of them it was hard but they realised how dependent of technology they are.
Finally I think if the technology will never work anymore people instinct should be back, they will spend their days hunting, to walk, to build a shelter to protect their family and their friends. I think that could be apocalyptic and people will steal what they need to survive, like in The Walking Dead a science-fiction series where people live in a destroyed world without technology.
To conclude we can say that life without technology is possible, but it wouldn't be a choice because it would mean going back a few years ago without medicine and it's should be very difficult for the majority of people."
