What is the difference between " I talk to him " and " I talk with him "?
Which one is correct: I talked to Jim or I talked with Jim?

I talk to him is more common than I talk with him.
To means that the words move from your mouth to his ear. I am writing to him, speaking to him, talking to him.
With can mean that you accept him as a partner to speak with. It can also mean to have a conversation with.....
