    Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

    You still have all the numbers of vowels.

    3- A person responsible for something wrong, unpleasant etc. ..... (r l t c p) 2

    4- Damp or stale in smell or taste. ..... (s m t) 2

    5- A part taken from a book etc. ..... (p c r x t) 2

    6- To think or speak of as being similar; to compare. ..... (k l n) 2

    7- A circular piece of ground where several roads meet, and round which traffic must travel. ..... (b r d t n) 5

    8- To prevent or delay the start or progress of. ..... (p m d) 3

    2- In a vague manner. (g l v) 4 vaguely = vaguement.
    3- A person responsible for something wrong, etc. (r l t c p) 2 culprit = coupable.
    4- Damp or stale in smell or taste. (s m t) 2 musty = moisi.
    5- A part taken from a book etc. (p c r x t) 2 excerpt = extrait.
    6- To think or speak of as being similar; to compare. (k l n) 2 liken = comparer.
    7- A circular point where several roads meet. (b r d t n) 5 roundabout = rond point, carrefour giratoire.
    8- To prevent or delay the start or progress of. (p m d) 3 impede = entraver.
    9- To lean (something) against something else. (r p p) 1 prop = poser contre.
