As you'll soon find out there is much more to this site than finding a penpal : you can be helped in improving your knowledge of French, and you can also contribute in helping other members improve their English if you're willing to. It is a place to LEARN and PRACTISE.
LEARN :
That's what the exercises are for. If you want one about a particular point, just ask for it. We'll try our best to create one as quickly as we can.
If you have questions about the language; or anything related to it, just ask your question, you probably won't have to wait very long for an answer.
Reading the messages in the other sections of the forum is also a way to learn new vocabulary and phrases in context and develop comprehension skill.

PRACTISE :
The best way to do so is to write your message in French (you can add your text in English to if you are not sure we will understand exactly what you mean to say) and ask for correction. By learning from one's own mistakes one can go a long way! Don't be shy or self-conscious : every one of us is here to learn and we all make mistakes!!
And if you feel like a little chat, the chatrooms are open 24 hours a day.
