Basically i need to describe a boy who is american but also portuguese.
Can you help me with the small text I've written?

Obviously, he is stuck between two customs. I think he is totally oblivious to the risk he runs because he is losing his ethnicity. There's nothing more important.

Obviously, he is stuck between two customs. I think he is totally oblivious to(good, or "of") the risk he runs because he is(good, or "of") losing his ethnicity.(In my view,) There's nothing more important(than what?).
