How do you say
I spent the waiting time in front of the shop
or
I spent the remain time in front of the shop

Hello.
Neither one is quite correct, but it depends on the context. For example...I spent the time waiting in front of the shop. I spent the remaining time in front of the shop. Or simply, I waited in front of the shop. The first seems the most likely.

I was there three minutes ahead of schedule and I spent the waiting time in front of the shop.
or and I spent the remaining time

These 2 words can be adjectives, verbs, or gerunds. In 'waiting time', waiting would be an adjective, but it's not commonly used that way.
