Hello very dear Marit and dear partners ,
First, ,as usual , I hope you are well and happy . What about the weather 'over the ocean ', a little milder ?
A very busy week overhere, yet, it is not too late to give my two cents worth.(or pence ; I have got enough coins at home !)

1 ) to purr - purrrrrring :now I know what alternate between pulmonic ingressive and egressive airstream is, I'll have a try myself , alas allergic to cats! Such a musical word !
2 )to exchange is ok as a synonym of give . not to give up ( by strength or renounce)as far as I know
3 ) nutshell like so pretty Thumbelina 's cradle floating along the river
4 )a nursery for babies and children, plants & flowers ,oysters and so on ...
5 ) to fix , not exactly to do with a ' fixed idea'
6 )Oh! Late Ulysses, our golden spaniel who was adorable !
7 ) truce ['trs ]
8 )sage [s] plant
9 )outboard ( doesn't always make driving easy, does it?
10)genuine leather, diamond,love ! .
