    Bonjour,
voici mon oral d'anglais sur la notion location and forms of power, pourriez-vous m'aider à corriger mes fautes s'il vous plait ?
    Merci d'avance.

I'm going to talk about the notion of Locations and forms of power. We studied a lot of documents about the sixties in london. In the sixties, London knows revolutions like revolution of mentalities, a technological revolution...
london was received a lot of recognitions for its sudden blooming in the sixties.

We can wonder to what extent did London exert his power in the 60's ?

In first, we will show that London has a big influence and in second, we will show that his power was limited.

In order to illustrate the notion, I have chosen three documents :
-The first document is The times are changing, It's an extract from a web article published, on the 20 June 2002.
-The second document is The 60's, It's an oral comprehension. 3 personns are being interviewed about the sixties.
-And the third is The real story behind britain's rock'n'roll, It's an extract of NPR.

I We started by the influence of London in the sixties. So, with the economy dynamism, unemployment almost non-existent and wages steadily rising, millions of families bought their first cars, washing machines, fridges and televisions. Millions of teenagers, too, were transfixed the look of Mary Quant and Twiggy.
Like in the times are changing, the title reminds me of Bob Dylan's song «The times they are a changing». It mentions a technological revolution, decade of consumerism... He contends that London is the fashion capital of the world.
In The 60's the people describes their memories in the 60's. They speak about their new lifestyle, ideas, culture, music are changing etc... they describes the technological revolution with the colour TV.

II However London power was limited in the sixties. In fact, for a lot of people London remained a remarkably conservative, even anxious society. Intellectuals worried that affluence and mass communications were undermining traditional working-class culture.
But for some people london is the city of drugs, hippy anti-establishmentarism and the sexual revolution fuelled by uptake of the pill like in the times are changing underlines that exist this problems of the counter-culture.
And in The real story behind britain's rock'n'roll the people wanted that the society change quickly. the extract describes the system of pirates radios which broadcast pop music on the British airwaves. The pirates' off-coast location strategically put them in international waters and thus out of British authorities' legal reach.

In conclusion, we can say that London has an big power on the technologies, the new things, etc... but this city can't control mentality, acts of people...
